I was in the LSU area and my friend offered to purchase HH pizza's for lunch. We both ordered 8" cheese pizzas. She told me if you order cheese only you get a very cheesy pizza, but put even one topping and they scrimp on the cheese?? (Sounds odd but I haven't experienced this phenomenon) My pizza was very cheesy and left the box, and anything else that touched it, completely grease soaked. The sauce was super bland and very light but the pie tasted OK after I sprinkled it with red pepper flakes. I can't say I would return. Well maybe if I'm hungry at 3 am and I'm in the delivery zone.

Pizza here sucks!! Pizza here tastes just like the pizza you buy at 7-11. Also pizza has too little sauce on it, too greasy.

INDIGESTION!!! Used to enjoy the somewhat average food, but these days, it's not worth going for the below average treatment by the manager, who seems to enjoy berating and verbally humiliating HH's staff in front of customers. HEARTBURN!!! If you arrive at a bad time for the manager, BEWARE, because he will berate you, too! What a poorly managed waste of space this place has become.

I have been a Howie's customer for several years now. But over the past year their service has succumbed to a steep decline. I always use the delivery service and three times so far this year my food took right at an hour to deliver. Sometimes slightly less sometimes more. The delivery time always says forty minutes, but if that doesn't happen, they don't offer any guarantee. The last time I called them and asked what was taking so long, they guy who answered the phone was very rude and more or less told me "it's not my problem" and at seventy minutes, the food was cold by the time I got it. The quality of the pizza is a bit uneven as well. All in all, not a good value for the money.

I've ordered from HH several times for delivery and just ordered for carry-out for the first time tonight. For delivery, they were great! My apartment is in a weird place and doesn't have a name for some reason...but they always find me! Carry-out was great as well- I filled out the order online was informed that my order would be ready in 10 minutes (awesome!). Indeed, the food was ready when I got there and the cashier was friendly. Now, on to the food: it is delicious! I'm a vegetarian and have a standard order of 2 large pizzas with flavored crust (garlic herb or sesame seeds) with either pineapple or jalapeno, and a Howie bread (mmm). The pizzas are well cooked with thin or regular crust; I have not tried the deep dish. The toppings are generous, and my request for "light cheese" is always honored. The Howie bread is great and not oily. Today I got a large Greek salad for the first time and it's really good! A little lacking on toppings, and would be better with romaine lettuce, but it came as advertised and is quite tasty. I'll definitely be back to HH many times in the future!

Average price for pizza, but good coupons available online on their site which make good deals. 3 cheese pepperoni pizza is good, add the garlic herb crust seasoning for extra goodness. Prompt delivery, hot and good.
